Professional NDIS Cleaning Services Sydney services in Sydney — Sydney Clean Group
Overview

Consistency matters more here than anywhere else.

For NDIS participants, a cleaner is not an anonymous service. They are a person who comes into the home regularly, and for many participants a rotating stream of unfamiliar faces is genuinely distressing. The single most important thing a cleaning provider can offer in this space is the same cleaner, on the same day, at the same time.

That is how we run NDIS work. Participants are allocated a consistent cleaner who is police-checked, introduced properly, and briefed on the participant's preferences and routine before the first visit. Changes to the roster are communicated in advance to the participant, their support coordinator or their plan manager rather than sprung on the day.

We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants, support coordinators, SIL and respite accommodation providers, and disability service organisations needing their offices and community facilities cleaned to the same standard they promise their participants.

Disability service organisations running offices, day programmes or community hubs can cover those sites through commercial cleaners in Sydney on the same account.

Clear, Written Quotes

Plain-language quotes that a participant, support coordinator or plan manager can read and approve without interpretation.

Police-Checked & Insured

Every cleaner is police-checked and covered by our public liability and workers compensation insurance.

Respectful and Unhurried

Visits are scheduled with realistic time allowances so the work is done properly rather than rushed around the participant.

How NDIS cleaning is usually arranged

Cleaning generally sits within a participant's core supports as assistance with daily life, and how it is paid depends on how the plan is managed. Self-managed participants engage us directly and pay us directly. Plan-managed participants engage us and the plan manager pays the invoice. Arrangements vary, and the sensible first step is always a conversation with the participant's support coordinator or plan manager about what the plan actually allows.

We are not in a position to give advice about plan funding, and we are careful not to pretend otherwise. What we do provide is a clear written quote showing the service, the frequency and the price, in a format that a plan manager can process and a support coordinator can put in front of a participant without translating it first.

For providers running SIL or respite accommodation, the arrangement is usually a straightforward commercial contract with a written scope per property. Those scopes need to distinguish between shared areas the provider is responsible for and private spaces where the participant's consent and preferences govern access.

Working respectfully in someone's home

A participant's home is a home first and a worksite second. Our cleaners are briefed to work to the participant's routine rather than their own: knocking and waiting, confirming before moving personal items, keeping noise down where sensory sensitivity is a factor, and asking rather than assuming when something is unclear.

Time allowances matter. A rushed visit produces a cleaner who moves fast, talks little and leaves the participant feeling like an obstacle. We scope realistic durations so the visit is calm, and we would rather quote honestly for the time required than win the job on a number that guarantees a poor experience.

Communication runs through whichever channel the participant prefers — directly, through a family member, or through a support coordinator. We confirm that at setup and stick to it, including for roster changes, which are notified in advance rather than discovered on the doorstep.

SIL homes, respite and provider facilities across Sydney

Supported independent living homes have a genuinely different profile to a private residence. There are more people, higher kitchen and bathroom loads, shared laundry, and a duty of care that means hygiene standards need to be documented rather than assumed. We write a scope per property listing areas, tasks and frequencies, and audit against it monthly.

Provider offices and community facilities carry their own priority: accessible bathrooms and quiet rooms. These are the spaces participants and families notice immediately, and they are frequently at the bottom of a generic office cleaning checklist. We put them at the top.

We cover Greater Sydney, including the western and south-western suburbs where much SIL accommodation sits — Blacktown, Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Mount Druitt and Parramatta — as well as the inner suburbs, the north shore and the Sutherland Shire. Sydney Clean Group is at 77 Garfield Street, Wentworthville NSW 2145. Call 02 9139 8401.

Frequently Asked Questions

NDIS Cleaning Services Sydney — FAQs.

Can NDIS funding be used for cleaning?

Cleaning generally sits within core supports as assistance with daily life, but what a specific plan allows varies. The right first step is a conversation with the participant's support coordinator or plan manager. We provide a clear written quote showing the service, frequency and price so it can be assessed against the plan.

Do you work with plan-managed and self-managed participants?

Yes, both. Self-managed participants engage and pay us directly. Plan-managed participants engage us and their plan manager processes the invoice. We format quotes and invoices so plan managers can process them without extra correspondence.

Will the same cleaner come every time?

Yes. Each participant is allocated a consistent cleaner who is introduced properly and briefed on preferences and routine before the first visit. If the roster has to change, we notify the participant, family member or support coordinator in advance.

Are your cleaners police-checked?

Every cleaner is police-checked before their first shift and works under our public liability and workers compensation insurance. Cleaners working in participant homes are briefed on respectful practice, including confirming before moving personal items.

Do you clean SIL and respite accommodation?

Yes. Supported independent living and respite properties are cleaned to a written scope per property, distinguishing shared areas from private spaces, and audited monthly so the provider has documented evidence of standards.

Which parts of Sydney do you cover?

All of Greater Sydney, including the western and south-western suburbs where much supported accommodation is located — Blacktown, Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Mount Druitt and Parramatta — as well as the inner suburbs, north shore and Sutherland Shire.
